The bulk of this site is about my transition, primarily my medical transition. When I began seeking information and trans community online five-ish years ago, personal transition sites were one of the most important resources I came across. The social networking boom has probably made these types of sites less relevant, but hopefully still valuable to some.
Other than the usual photos, updates, and voice clips, I’m trying to slowly incorporate information about my social transition, and also document ways in which my ideas about sex and gender (my own and in general) have changed over time.
In addition, I’m trying to add in a select few resources in each section, including my “testosterone letter”, the letter of support from my therapist which the doctor who originally prescribed my testosterone required for my treatment, the “surgeon’s letter” which asserted that I have had the body modifications required to change my legal sex marker, and a few offsite resources that were useful to me.
I’m also keeping a very small blog about trans community politics. As I’ve become very busy lately, this has been neglected, and I’m unsure whether I will ever return to this project. At the moment, I’m keeping my involvement with trans communities very limited, and that seems to have been good for me overall.
